New Senior Tech Insider Website Covers Wearable Assistive Technology to Help Seniors Age in Place and Enjoy Their Golden Years

Center Ring Media today officially launched Senior Tech Insider, a website devoted to tracking new products, corporate news, regulatory affairs and research developments in the world of technology for seniors. It is updated daily, and top stories are distributed in a weekly news blast that is optimized for quick reading.

“With baby boomers preparing for long, active retirements, technology will be increasingly important to them. Senior Tech Insider is about using technology to help older consumers age in place, and live longer, more rewarding, and more independent lives,” said Dan Rosenbaum, president and editor-in-chief of Center Ring Media. “More than that, Senior Tech Insider tracks how technology helps those who care for seniors, frequently at a distance, to keep them informed about and involved in their loved ones’ lives.”

Karen Heyman, a San Diego-based science and technology journalist, is the editor of Senior Tech Insider. She has written for publications ranging from Outside to Science. In addition, Heyman has been a Science Journalism Fellow at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, and a science writer for the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California.
