Shares of Eversource Energy (ES) Sees Large Outflow of Money

Eversource Energy (ES): The stock had negative money flow to the tune of ($7.13 million) on Tuesday, which shows that the traders are selling the stock on the price strength. The inflow of money on upticks was $7.38 million, whereas, the outflow of money on downticks was $14.51 million and the ratio between the two was 0.51. The block trade had a negative net money flow of ($6.31 million). On the other hand, downticks amounted to $6.31 million of the traded value, which shows distribution in the stock by traders. Eversource Energy (ES) closed with marginal gains of 25 cents to end the day at $54.37, an increase of 0.46% over the previous days close. The stock recorded -2.11% for the week.


Also, Equity Analysts at the Janney Capital upgrades the rating on Eversource Energy (NYSE:ES). The brokerage firm has issued a Buy rating on the shares. The shares were previously rated Neutral. The rating by the firm was issued on August 1, 2016.

Eversource Energy has lost 2.79% in the last five trading days and dropped 8.96% in the last 4 weeks. Eversource Energy has dropped 3.21% during the last 3-month period . Year-to-Date the stock performance stands at 6.97%.

Eversource Energy (NYSE:ES): The stock opened at $54.34 on Tuesday but the bulls could not build on the opening and the stock topped out at $54.64 for the day. The stock traded down to $53.69 during the day, due to lack of any buying support eventually closed down at $53.74 with a loss of -1.16% for the day.
