PIMCO Dynamic Credit Income Fund (the Fund) is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to seek current income. Capital appreciation is a secondary objective of the Fund. The Fund will invest at least 50% of its net assets in corporate income-producing securities of varying maturities issued by United States or foreign (non-United States) corporations or other business entities including emerging market issuers. It will invest at least 80% of its net assets in a portfolio of debt instruments of varying maturities. The Fund may also invest up to 40% of its total assets in securities of issuers economically tied to emerging market countries. Its portfolio of investments includes banks utilities wireless pipelines independent E&P integrated oil non-captive consumer finance chemicals broadcasting and brokerage among others.
