Belden (BDC) Releases Earnings Results, Beats Expectations By $0.28 EPS

Belden (BDC) reported quarterly earnings results on Tuesday, Jul-19-2016. The company said it had a profit of $1.54 Earnings per Share for the quarter. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations beating the analyst consensus estimate by $0.28. Analysts had a consensus of $1.26. The company posted revenue of $601.60 million in the period, compared to analysts expectations of $580.90 million. The company’s revenue was up 2.7% compared to the same quarter last year. During the same quarter in the previous year, the company posted $1.21 EPS.

Belden closed down -0.41 points or -0.59% at $69.06 with 3,24,029 shares getting traded on Monday. Post opening the session at $69.21, the shares hit an intraday low of $68.72 and an intraday high of $69.46 and the price fluctuated in this range throughout the day.Shares ended Monday session in Red.
