Shares of Barclays PLC (BCS) Sees Large Outflow of Money

The uptick to downtick ratio stood at 0.55 with a negative money flow of ($0.77) Million during Wednesdays trading session. The block trades money flow was negative ($0.78 million). The transaction of the trades on downticks amounted to $0.78 million, which confirms investors selling on the strength of price. Barclays PLC (BCS) gained 7 cents at $8, an increase of 0.89% over the previous days close.


Also, Brokerage firm Goldman Sachs downgrades its rating on Barclays PLC (NYSE:BCS). The shares have been rated Neutral. Previously, the analysts had a Buy rating on the shares. The rating by the firm was issued on June 28, 2016.

Barclays PLC (NYSE:BCS): During Wednesdays trading session, Bulls were in full control of the stock right from the opening. The stock opened at $8.02 and $7.98 proved to be the low of the day. Continuous buying at higher levels pushed the stock towards an intraday high of $8.06. The buying momentum continued till the end and the stock did not give up its gains. It closed at $8.04, notching a gain of 1.39% for the day. The total traded volume was 5,662,969 . The stock had closed at $7.93 on the previous day.

The stock has recorded a 20-day Moving Average of 1.13% and the 50-Day Moving Average is 12.94%.
