Shares of Credicorp Ltd. (BAP) Sees Large Outflow of Money

Credicorp Ltd. (BAP): The stock had negative money flow to the tune of ($0.73 million) on Wednesday, which shows that the traders are selling the stock on the price strength. The inflow of money on upticks was $0.08 million, whereas, the outflow of money on downticks was $0.81 million and the ratio between the two was 0.1. The block trade had a negative net money flow of ($0.1 million). On the other hand, downticks amounted to $0.1 million of the traded value, which shows distribution in the stock by traders. Credicorp Ltd. (BAP) closed with marginal gains of 55 cents to end the day at $159.14, an increase of 0.35% over the previous days close. The stock recorded 1.96% for the week.

Continuous buying at higher levels pushed the stock towards an intraday high of $160.09. The buying momentum continued till the end and the stock did not give up its gains. It closed at $159.51, notching a gain of 0.58% for the day. The total traded volume was 211,033 . The stock had closed at $158.59 on the previous day.

Credicorp Ltd. is a financial services holding company in Peru. The Company is has four operating segments based on its products and services. Its operational segments include banking, insurance, pension funds and investment banking. The Companys five principal operating subsidiaries include Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP); Atlantic Security Bank (ASB), which it holds through Atlantic Security Holding Corporation (ASHC); El Pacifico-Peruano Suiza Compania de Seguros y Reaseguros (Grupo Pacifico); Prima AFP, and Credicorp Capital. Its banking business is principally focused on commercial and consumer loans, credit facilities, deposits, current accounts and credit cards. It conducts its insurance business through Grupo Pacifico, which is a Peruvian insurance company. Its investment banking business units are grouped under Credicorp Capital, which carries out its operations in the region through Credicorp Capital Peru, Credicorp Capital Colombia (formerly, Correval) and IM Trust.
