The company also designs, engineers and builds equipment that produces industrial gases primarily for internal use. The companys surface technologies segment, operated through Praxair Surface Technologies, Inc., supplies wear-resistant and high-temperature corrosion-resistant metallic and ceramic coatings and powders.
