The Companys Same-Store Communities segment includes the communities that were acquired, developed and stabilized prior to January 1, 2013, and held as of December 31, 2014. The Companys Non-Mature Communities/Other segment represents the acquired, developed and redeveloped communities, and the non-apartment components of mixed use properties, which do not meet the criteria to be included in the Same-Store Communities segment. As of December 31, 2014, the Companys consolidated real estate portfolio included 139 communities located in 20 markets, with a total of 39,851 completed apartment homes.
