Florida Man March 11, 2020 – Whips off a Taqueria Worker in the Face
NAPLES, Fla. – A Florida Man from Naples whipped a restaurant worker with a small rope before swinging a knife at them.
42-year-old Darbin Carrasco-Oseguerra was arrested on the night of March 11, 2020.
Police responded to a call of a man threatening to hurt all the workers and customers of the popular Mexican restaurant.
When one of the workers tried to stop him, Carrasco-Oseguerra took a small rope and whipped the employee’s face. Afterward, he pulled out a small knife and swung at the worker.
It was found out that prior to that incident, another man was a victim of Carrasco-Oseguerra. The first victim was a driver that he threatened with a knife in order to bring him to Felipe’s Mexican Taqueria.
When they arrived, the unidentified driver was forced to order some food while Carrasco-Oseguerra asked the restaurant worker to call the police.
Battery, carjacking, assault, false imprisonment, and battery on a law enforcement officer are the chargers that Carrasco-Oseguerra will be facing.
Florida Man March 11, 2020 – Caught with Cocaine and Eaten Stolen Debit Card
A Florida Man from Orlando was nabbed for stealing 13 credit and debit cards. He used the cards to purchase some jewelry and gift cards in Disney Springs on March 11, 2020.
Jose Herrera, 27, used a dead man’s debit card for a transaction. He was caught and reported to Orange County deputies, while being detained by Disney security.
Before deputies got a chance to question Herrera, he tried destroying the stolen debit card by eating it.
When the investigation commenced, there were some weird movements of his hands while inside his pocket. After the deputies checked they found a little bag of white powder.
“I am not going to lie, it is cocaine”, Herrera stated.
It has been found that Herrera had stolen 13 cards in total. Including the Ohio dead man’s card used at Disney Spring. He had purchased a soft drink, $400 worth of Disney gift cards, and attempted to purchase $360 in jewelry.
Herrera is facing the following charges, possession of cocaine, possession of stolen credit card, fraud of a person who is deceased and making a false statement to law enforcement while under oath.
Florida Man can be reasonable sometimes but most of the time he is not, and that is for sure. There’s just no stopping this guy, anywhere, anytime.
