PC Market Online, Legit or a Scam?
After seeing their prices on software like Windows 10, I have found myself asking, is PC Market Online legit? PC Market Online is a web-based company that claims to offer you technical support, electrical equipment, and leading software for a questionably low price.
While the idea of it sounds great on the surface, many questions have been raised against PC Market Online. In this article, we will take a look at some PC Market Online reviews. Then show you why we think they might be a scam.
PC Market Online
PC Market Online offers visitors supposedly genuine Microsoft products and other leading software and hardware at some of the lowest prices on the internet. The web-based company claims to strive to bring you the best and latest software at an affordable rate. Claiming to make sure everyone can afford the tools they need to make their life and work easier.
Like any online Microsoft 10 purchase, PC Market Online offers you a downloadable software file and an activation code. You can later use this code to activate your legit Microsoft windows 10. Unfortunately, here is where things start to go downhill.
About 90% of PC Market Online purchasers claim that the activation code offered by PC Market Online is not legit. Furthermore, those who got in touch with their “professional technical support staff” found themselves waiting for long periods before their call was automatically dropped. Those who choose to resolve the matter using their email support did not receive any reply even after weeks of waiting.
Signs A Download Site isn’t Legit
Before you decide to blindly place your trust in online websites, we suggest running an analysis. If the website you wish to download from does not pass the test, it’s best to let the matter slide rather than looking for a way to justify the website.
Today, browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari come with trust and protective settings. Enabling them identifies if any harmful pages are trying to slide any viruses in your system. Browsers are constantly updating their blacklisted website list. So it may be best to rely on your browser.
Most malicious websites are the production of cheap purchases. These websites often come with a funky domain name. The names are often just jumbled letters or a completely unrelated name to their product or site. It also helps to learn the difference between domain names and what they stand for. For instance, domain names ending with .com, .net, or .org are legit, but domain names such as google.com.phishy.biz? are usually not. Moreover, website links with dashes (-) or question marks (?) or any other symbol are often unreliable.
Peer to Peer
A P2P (peer to peer) website is a file-sharing locker room. These sites can often be very useful. However, you should be very cautious when using them. Even if the website you are using is legit, there is a posibility the files you are downloading contains a virus. If you are unfamiliar with this type of site, I would take some time on learning about them before diving in.
Ads & Pop-Ups
Too many advertisements and pop-ups can be a sign of danger. It shows that the focus is more on making money and not the customer’s experience. Yes, these pop-ups are typically not harmful, but the links that lead to a download could be harmful to your computer.
When it comes to user experience, it has been said that there is no difference between an original and a pirated version. However, that is known to be untrue. Activated Windows offers you the protection, guarantee, and support you need to ensure a safe and reliable operating system. Knowing you are protected helps offer you some peace of mind. This enables you to safely store your personal information and files on your computer.
On the other hand, those who cannot afford an original system may opt for many fake/cheap choices. They may get the job done short term but many end up regretting their decision.
Keeping that in mind, the main issue with PC Market Online is not fake software. It’s fake activation codes and the inability to download or run the software. Moreover, many claimed that no file even appeared after the money was deducted from their account.
So Is PC Market Online Legit?
Microsoft has made it clear that there are no insane discounts on their products/services. This statement, along with the unreasonably low price tags PC Market Online carries makes me highly doubt their legitimacy. I’m sure there is a good reason for the horrible complaints about the PC Online Market over the years. Those who are looking for a cheap fix may want to look elsewhere.
Considering all aspects and reviews found online, I think it is safe to say that PC Market Online is not a legit website. While it may offer software you can use, they do not offer you original or protective services. Currently, the website only takes credit card purchases. It does not support any other payment gateway. In contrast, almost every other webpage offers to take PayPal at the least.
These simple factors, add a negative impact and lead you to believe that PC Market Online is not legit. However, rather than just take our word on it, you can check around and do the research yourself. Making sure you make a well-educated decision.
This is why we suggest you either go for the original or choose a system you can afford. While we all wish and hope for the best, there are times when we must consider the options in front of us and make a decision based on the facts rather than wishful thinking.
